Natural Trait Reminders (Not Quality Issues)
• Our walnuts are 100% natural and hand-cleaned. Tiny dried fruit husk or dark spots in the deep textures are normal natural residues, which won’t affect patina or playing. Clean gently with a steel brush or a nano brush if needed.
• No two natural walnuts are identical. Pairs are matched by size, grain and shape with minor color difference or grain density variation—this is normal and not a defect.
• Small natural dents, fine lines or slight ridge deviations are growth marks, which won’t impact the overall appearance and use.
Note on Craftsmanship:
To ensure a clean and symmetrical aesthetic, certain varieties like Toad Head may undergo minor, professional tip refinements. This process removes natural surface spots from the harvest without affecting the walnut's integrity. It is purely aesthetic and has no impact on the overall quality or the natural aging process.

• Play Clean Hands: Always wash and dry your hands before playing. This ensures the walnuts develop a transparent, ruby-like glow instead of looking "muddy."
• No Sudden Temp Changes: Walnuts are organic. Keep them away from heaters, air conditioners, or direct sunlight to prevent cracking.
• No Water: If they get wet, dry them immediately with a soft cloth and let them air dry slowly.
• Use the Pouch: When you’re not playing with them, always store them in the provided pouch to keep them safe and stable.
• Use the Ziploc Bag: If your room is extremely dry (especially in winter), store the walnuts in a sealed plastic bag.
• Avoid heavy impact or dropping. Walnuts are hard but brittle. Impacts may cause tip chipping, edge cracking or split.

I’ve been on the hunt for bird shaped walnuts for months and I couldn’t be more pleased with this kit. The Little Birds came pre-cleaned with no cracks and I love how much thought went into the accessories. They’re starting to develop some color very nicely after one week of rolling :)
